Welcome to Tales from the Yukon

Hi! I’m Kennie of the Yukon and this is Tales from the Yukon, a place where I will be documenting my adventures living and teaching in Ross River, Yukon (a small community about 5 hours North East of Whitehorse).

For the last two years I lived and taught in the small high Arctic community of Arctic Bay, Nunavut (73°02′11″N 085°09′09″W) and recorded my experiences on my first blog, Tales from the Arctic

In August 2007, I packed up my bags and headed north... way north to live and teach in the small high Arctic community of Arctic Bay, NU (Northern Baffin Island) for an adventure of a life time.

In August 2009, my adventure continues as I move laterally and a little southward across the North to Ross River, Yukon where I will be living and teaching for the next several years.
